FL@33 is a multidisciplinary visual communications studio based in Notting Hill, London, founded in 1999 by Agathe Jacquillat (France) and Tomi Vollauschek (Austria). Agathe and Tomi took their inspiration from the ten secret plates of the well-known yet obsolete diagnostic test invented by the psychologist Hermann Rorschach to create a piece that plays with the concepts of folding and symmetry.
Four images are composed through reflection, mirror images formed from inverted duplication. Right is left, left is right. Four images and three concepts: the symmetry in organic forms, their transference onto a manmade concrete wall and a final mirror that causes us to reflect on the artistic slant of each individual. A finale that was also transferred onto the cover of our printed version.
