Guidelines for Contributions
The Creator Studio is a project supported and managed by Torraspapel S.A. in order to promote its range of Creator double-sided coated paper and demonstrate its qualities for color printing. The Creator Studio is a predominantly visual magazine that was created for the publication of graphic and literary content originating from anywhere in the world.
1- Collaboration with The Creator Studio is open to creators and artists of any graphic, artistic, aesthetic or literary discipline anywhere in the world.
2- Selected works may be published and exhibited by various media, in which the copyright of the author shall be stated. Their publication shall comprise the following media and information formats:

a. Publication in paper format: 30,700 copies in three languages (Spanish, English and French). 96 color pages with a 210 mm wide x 250 mm high format. The Studio circulation shall be distributed among companies, designers, advertising agencies, printers and paper distributors in any country in the world.
b. Publication on the Internet via the website www.creator.info: title of the work, date of production, name of author, studio or collaborating company, country of origin, presentation text for the work and a maximum of 6 images signed at the bottom with the copyright of the author with a resolution that is sufficient for this to be read on the screen.
c. The Creator Studio publications may be presented in different cities around the world. During public presentation acts, the selected works may be exhibited via any digital or analogue medium in any size or format, in all cases providing information on the title and the copyright of the author.

3- The works proposed by the creators and artists must be original and suited to the theme proposed for each edition. Information on the themes proposed by the publisher for the forthcoming issues can be consulted at www.creator.info in the section dedicated to The Creator Studio.
4- For the purposes of preliminary selection, the proposed works must be sent to studio@lahabitacion.net and consist of the following elements:
a. A minimum of one image (jpg or pdf) with a maximum resolution of 72 dpi in order to be adapted to a 210 mm wide x 250 mm high page format.
b.The proposed works must be accompanied by the following: title of the work, name of the author, country, e-mail address and telephone number. They must also be accompanied by a brief résumé of the professional career of the author, a description of the proposal, its concept and total page length in no more than 300 words.
c. For literary contributions, the maximum number of words is 1,200 per page. |
5- The deadline for accepting contributions for the forthcoming edition is: November 30th, 2007 for the theme "Rituals".
6- La habitación ediciones S.L. is the company that has been designated by Torraspapel S.A. to undertake the selection of works and contents received. Once the selection has been made, La habitación ediciones S.L. will contact the authors or their legal representatives individually in order to inform themselves of and determine the exact characteristics of the final original work and its length in pages.
7- The sending of contributions does not imply their publication, use or diffusion by any medium before the selection of contents has been undertaken and La habitación ediciones S.L. has informed the authors or their legal representatives in writing, either by post or by e-mail.
8- The contributors whose works have been selected and published by The Creator Studio, shall have sole legal responsibility before any possible legal claim arising from the use or plagiarism of works belonging to third parties.
9- Torraspapel S.A. and La habitación ediciones S.L. reserve the right to use the personal details of authors and contributors for the purposes of sending editions of the publication, informing them of any event related toThe Creator Studio or of any advertising information relating to the range of products manufactured and marketed by Torraspapel S.A.
10- Collaboration with The Creator Studio implies the express acceptance of the participation rules and the assignment of intellectual property rights to La habitación ediciones S.L. for the purposes of publication and diffusion solely using the media expressed in point nº 2 above. Said acceptance must be confirmed by e-mail to studio@lahabitacion.net.
